Turkish-German Fusion Finds Expression in Rap
A very interesting article about young Turkish emcees in Germany, talking a lot about identity issues.
I guess you have to register with the LA times to see it, but it's free and the article is very good. So often, i think we get stuck in the black/white mindset of race relations and forget that other countries have different situations.
It's also amazing to see hip hop spread so far, and with such power, highlighting some of the same issues that it does in America.
